I'm always surprised when I hear how seeing a car in a movie affects someones decision to buy a car. But who can blame them. These cars are hot enough without the shine, but getting time on the big-screen certainly boosts the appeal.

The Audi R8

The R8 was first introduced in 2008 as Audi's first shot at an exotic, mid-engine sports car. This car has been well received throughout since its release. Drivers and critics alike felt like the "mid-engine" part of the goal wasn't working for them. They wanted something stronger and Audi said "OK". 2010 rolls around and they put out an R8 equipped with a 525 HP V10 engine, the same one a Lambo Gallardo sports.

Audi R8 - Tony Stark's Ride (Iron Man car)

I can't get over how hot this car is. Even billionaire Tony Stark approves of the R8. Robert Downey Jr.'s cool character sets him up for a sweet ride. There is tons of great footage of this car in Iron Man and I can't get enough!

Audi's got their foot deep in this one. Even Tony Stark's assistant, Virginia Potts (played by Gwyneth Paltrow) rocks an Audi S5 and it's smokin as well.

If you're an R8 or Audi fan don't miss this one. I love all that high-tech robotics stuff they do like in Transformers. The Iron Man suit animations, even just inside his home are mind blowing. Audi RSQ In Feature Film: I, Robot

This is Will Smith and his Audi RSQ I, Robot. This car was fully designed for this movie, which is amazing. Can you imagine the huge investment the company had in this to actually fully design a car inside and out for a movie?!

These cars were flying throughout the freeways in the movie. The driving scenes were slick! I, Robot is a futuristic movie and the car designed for it is absolutely beautiful. That should be me stepping out of the RSQ, not the Fresh Prince :).
